In this walk and conversation through the exhibition Between the Tremor and a Murmur Lies a Sunset, curator and editor andrea ancira will share different kinds of relationships between humans and more-than-humans that emerge from the artworks. These relationships invite us to question human-centered ways of understanding nature and landscape, and encourage an affective and political engagement with the world around us. Here, correspondence does not mean a perfect match between two things, but rather a living, evolving connection. These correspondences are the exchanges and mutual effects that happen when different beings – human or not – live together, influence each other, and move through the world side by side. Seen this way, each artwork invites us into a relationship – not to explain or communicate something fixed, but simply to be with it.
