Does nature speak – and if so, how can we listen to it?
The exhibition Between the Tremor and a Murmur Lies a Sunset focuses on precisely this question. On Saturday, July 12 at 1 pm, guest curator Lorena Moreno Vera will provide insights into the group show. Together with her, we will explore the poetic, sonic and political dimensions of more-than-human forms of communication – from talking with animals to reading wave movements as a musical score.
The artworks of Orla Barry, Anca Benera & Arnold Estefán, Edgar Calel, Tania Candiani, Niamh O'Malley and ~pes (Elizabeth Gallón Droste & Pablo Torres) open up diverse perspectives on forms of exchange between human and more-than-human beings, materials and worlds – sensitive, tangible, unruly and at the same time connected by the common question of relationship and resonance.
The tour will be held in English.
Participation is free of charge, registration is not required.
