Computed Reality
Sat, 25.07.2026, 12.30 – 3pm
With: Brooklyn Pakathi and freakygreenfish
In their workshop Computed Reality, the artists Brooklyn Pakathi and freakygreenfish take you on a trip through the history and present of the internet — from its colonial origins to the algorithms that now organize daily perception and movement. The session begins with a short history linking server infrastructure, global connectivity, and platform ownership to earlier systems of extraction. After that, the workshop gets hands‑on. Taking concrete tools as examples, it explores how to expand digital agency and practically curb platform power. Among other things, the guerrilla potential of content farms will be discussed.
Computed Reality takes place as part of the exhibition Attitude Era. The workshop is free of charge. Participation is possible with or without a laptop. Language: English.
