Identity crises, hormonal rollercoasters, bottomless despair, and excessive euphoria: guest curator Nora Mayr’s exhibition All the feels! invites us on a journey through the emotional worlds of teenage years. The invited local and international artists focus on the fragile moments of growing up: the tensions, transitions, and crises between vulnerability and boldness, isolation and belonging, the arduous search for your Self and conformity.

At the same time, the exhibition explores the political charge of these threshold experiences in adolescence. Historically, the “youth” has always been a driving force behind progressive social change. Even today, in times of climate crisis, wars, and socio-political conflicts, it is primarily people between 15 and 24 who insist that a different world is possible – from K-Pop fans sabotaging Donald Trump’s election campaign to the actions of the Last Generation.

All the feels! spotlights the emotional states of the teenage years: a phase of life in which everything seems possible, prescribed private and political structures are put to the test, and the pragmatism of the adult world has not yet crept into our minds.
