The Kunstraum Niederoesterreich is in the centre of Vienna, about ten minutes’ walk from St Stephan’s Cathedral and is easily reachable on public transport from the Herrengasse U3 stop.
The Palais Niederösterreich, in which the gallery is located, was the seat of the Lower Austria Provincial Government until 1997 and is now used as a congress and events centre. The gallery, which covers some 300 square metres, is accessed from the courtyard of the Palais.
