Departing from this discrepancy between the simultaneous relevance and disregard of care, the exhibition TechnoCare focuses on possible new definitions of care in our algorithmic present. From “love bots” and virtual pet anthropomorphism to performative reflections on relations across species – TechnoCare presents works of Austrian and international artists that investigate the technology-based building, cultivating, reviving, and criticising of relationships.
