As a finale to the Kunstraum’s annual program Sensing the Heat, we explore the manifold “intersections” between queerness and decoloniality with Soñ Gweha’s show A Quiet Storm Blowin’. Inspired by Smokey Robinson’s soul classic Quiet Storm, Soñ presents a lively, multisensual environment between collaborative platform, afro-queer utopia, and decolonial archive. In focus: the subversive potentials of tenderness, care, and desire.
