An open discussion series on the physical appropriation of space and landscape, power relations and medialisation in extreme sport and the leisure industry as part of the exhibition “Extreme Body, Space and Movement”.

It is no accident that the title quotes the film Copie Conforme by Abbas Kiarostami, in which an art expert plays the leading female role. Copying, imitation and referencing are not just the basis of artistic production but also of all cultural systems. Against the backgrouned of timeless and current discourses on copyright and the freedom of art, this exhibition project seeks to offer an insight into contemporary artistic positions that link methods of creative appropriation or referentiality with socio-political statements or explicitly to use them as instruments.

Mobile installation, exotic sounds, musique ordinaire, wild mixed cultures and genuine noodle soup

Catalan designer Martí Guixé's Hidromel Factory for producing mead (honey wine) is reminiscent of an alchemist's experimental setup and uses the Kunstraum as a place of production and a free-trade zone for an ancient drink which has fallen into obscurity.
