Ingeborg Strobl composes an atmospheric three-dimensional image of 'home' as a heterogeneous unity of personal sensibility and banality, of necessity, absurdity and yearnings.
"We all have to live somewhere — a fact, a necessity, an obligation, a burden, a convention and a social norm," writes Ingeborg Strobl on her concept in the catalogue for the exhibition WIR WOHNEN at the Kunstraum Niederoesterreich.
Strobl combines artists' videos, images, objects and installations in an idiosyncratic manner and beyond the aesthetics of high-gloss architecture or design magazines. She composes an atmospheric three-dimensional image of 'home' as a heterogeneous unity of personal sensibility and banality, of necessity, absurdity and yearnings.
