We have become one with modern technology: Computer programs and algorithms govern our love lives, they follow the data discharge we secrete in our movements through the www, they know our education and bank account status and speculate about our preferences. They control weapon systems, accelerate the race for maximum profit on the stock markets, probe geological layers for resources, and sequester refugees according to homeland. The relationship with technology digs deep into our lives.

SOCIAL GLITCH – the error, the slip, the disruption, caused by man or machine in their interaction is eponymous for this controversial and topical event series with interventions, performances, and discussion rounds with high-profile artists and theoreticians.
