In their performance Jeux d’eau, Julia Danzinger and Serena Lee, explore aspects of crisis through the metaphor of water, the nourishing and destructive effects of this volatile element. In a set of three sketches, using movement and expanded cinema, the notion of crisis is channelled through embodied uses of water in day-to-day routines, using vessels, a to-do list, and what strategies can we call upon to relinquish our need for control?
