The artists participating in the exhibition “The Scientific People: Researches on the Myth of the Primitive” explore the original in the digital, the primitivism of the technological and the technology of intoxicated states. Objets d’art, everyday artefacts and a caravan accompany one to the borders of reason, which become pleasurably experienceable or may also irritate. In particular the mobile 1950s caravan as an extension of the exhibition room is dedicated to the enjoyment of the irrational, to intoxication.
A cooperation between Filmbar and the Kunstraum Niederoesterreich, on the occasion of the exhibition “The Scientific People: Researches on the Myth of the Primitive”, in the Kunstraum NOE with Heiko Bressnik, Dj Dsl, Heinz Frank, Kris Lemsalu, Alexander Martinz, David Moises, Tomek Vollmann and Matthias Zykan.
