As part of the exhibition DURST, a so-called Vamp Camp will be set up at Kunstraum Niederoesterreich over two weekends. Together with the participants we will revitalize the drawings of artist Anne Cathrin Ulikowski from the series What are you going to do when you're not saving the world, which refers to the myth of the femme fatale, the vamp.
After a canine tooth check-up at the entrance, an interactive guided tour through the exhibition will take place. Strengthened by a round of "blood or fake?", the participants of the workshop will go to the vamp studio, where they can build themselves accessories for the subsequent performative photo shoot. Each child will receive a photo of their reenactment afterwards.
The workshops are free of charge and can be attended individually. Children between the ages of 10 and 13 can participate.
Due to COVID-19 protection measures, the number of participants is limited to 10 children per workshop. We kindly ask for registration under +43 1 90 42 111 or by mail to lena.schuster[at]kunstraum.net.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the hygiene measures, we will be happy to provide you with information. Our employees have been instructed in the applicable hygiene and clearance rules and would like to make your stay with us an enjoyable one.
