A performance about the que(e)r connections between Oskar Schlemmer and Judas Priest, or, more succinctly, "a unified queer metal performance" (Kihlström/Martinz) – that would be our reply if asked for an elevator pitch for the winning project of this year's H13 Lower Austria Prize for Performance, Metal Heads by Elisabeth Kihlström and Alexander Martinz. Nerdy? Maybe a little bit. But also pretty good. That such a crossover of High and Low, Bauhaus and Metal not only has rhyme and reason, but also looks - and above all: sounds - pretty good is something you can see for yourself at this year's H13 award ceremony on TH, 01 09 2022. Then Kihlström and Martinz will perform their award-winning project, a hybrid of live concert, sound installation and lecture performance, live for the first time.

We are looking forward to welcoming you at Kunstraum Niederoesterreich!

Registration is not necessary this year.
