Curator´s Tour Stormy Weather

SAT, 14 11 2020, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm (ONLINE)
with Katharina Brandl

Ctrl+S - and our data is already stored in a place to which even we could not give directions: in the cloud. The exhibition Stormy Weather deals with these (and other) man-made clouds and, through the lens of contemporary art, asks about our agency in times that are increasingly governed by complex technologies.
In a virtual tour on 14 11 2020, curator Katharina Brandl will guide visitors online through the show and answer their questions: Why is the place where we not only store our data, but have also shifted large parts of our computing power to, named and represented as a cloud? How are weather, climate and technological history intertwined? And: How is this reflected by means of contemporary art?

Due to the measures taken to contain the spread of COVID-19, the guided tour will take place online. Please register at with the subject: “Curators Tour Stormy Weather”. After registration, participants will receive a link to the digital tour.
