Rational Animal is in particular dealing with male identity and sexuality, normative roles, conceptions of intellectuality  as well as art and creativity within the scope of a social system. Hereby emblematic roles are displayed and references to canonical pieces of classical as well as popular culture and iconography is placed in an investigative context.
