ART IN THE CENTER OF VIENNA
The exhibition space Kunstraum Niederoesterreich, situated in Vienna’s inner city, offers young artists starting out on their careers an opportunity to put their work before the public in thematically oriented group exhibitions. These artistic productions covering all media of the visual arts are conceptualised by curators of renown. The co-involvement of established practitioners allows for interesting kinds of discourse. An active exchange of exhibitions with foreign countries, most recently with China, Romania, the Czech Republic and Germany, establishes contacts with international cultural institutions and exhibition houses, galleries and collections. Kunstraum Niederösterreich as an open, non-commercially oriented institution is there to support and organise experimental projects, to pick up on artistic inspirations and ideas and to discuss topical questions. Its lounge serves as a meeting place for artists, art experts and people interested in the arts generally, as much as it does for personalities from the media and the economy, offering a space for talks and the development of networks.

WELCOME TO THE LOUNGE
A wide selection of art magazines, literature and informations on the cultural diversity of lower austria will be at the disposal of the visitors in the lounge corner to be studied. The KUNSTRAUM NOE is open to all interested visitors free of any charges. DJ session or a lecture, movie presentations, a concert or a party, the definite program will be finalized by the artists and the KUNSTRAUM NOE thus serves in addition as a TON-RAUM (sound space) and a SPRACH-RAUM (discussion forum).

PROGRAMMATIC STRUCTURE
Every year seven specific thematic group exhibitions representing the current mainstreams of contemporary art at a regional, national or international scale are scheduled.

NETWORKING IS THE MAIN STRATEGY
Close cooperation with international galleries, exhibition centers, collectors and sponsors will foster the promotion of artists far beyond the Austrian borders.

TO LEARN FROM THE BEST
Young artists from Lower Austria will have the opportunity to meet nationally and internationally renowned artists and sponsors from the world of arts, culture, economy and mass media; These mutual exchanges are expected to promote fruitful synergies.

TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT
With its perfect infrastructure the KUNSTRAUM NOE offers a logistically fully equipped platform for art production. The center disposes of up to date technical equipment thus encouraging the use of a great variety of media. A movable system of room divisions allows a maximum of flexibility in the design of exhibitions.
